10 Days of Fenty Beauty: Beaches be #Trippin
For the second day of Christmas... I mean Fenty Beauty, I decided to do a bronzed beach babe look with extra highlighter from the Match Stix Trio in Medium (called Trippin- hence the title).
To start, I put the Match Stix concealer in the shade Bamboo under the eyes in a triangle and on the lid to even out the skin tone. I usually blend this in with my finger or my beauty blender from Elf.
To distract you all from the fact that my skin has become increasingly pale since I left Los Angeles, I put on a fair amount of the contour in Mocha. I drew the Match Stix along my cheek bones and framing the forehead. For this look I decided to blend the contour with one of my thicker brushes from My Brush Sets which I found through an Instagram ad for $25. If you are wondering if it is the soft oval brushes you see makeup artists using, yes, that exactly, but just cheaper!
Now, for the highlighter! I went all out with the Trippin Match Stix. I pretty much put it everywhere there wasn't other product- on the eyelid, along the upper cheek bone, the apples of the cheeks, on the tip and along the nose, the upper v of the lip, and just under the lower lip. I wasn't lying when I said everywhere else.
Lastly, I added some of my favorite lip balm, Smith's Rosebud Salve. This stuff is the absolute best. I love to add some of this on my nose as well in the winter when it gets super dry!
Thanks for reading! Make sure to comment what I should do for the next look.
